Pamela Anderson is amazed by the reaction she has received for her makeup-free looks.

The 57-year-old actress made a recent appearance for the promotion of her new film The Last Showgirl opened up about her decision of not wearing makeup and noted that initially it was an “experiment.”

“This whole peeling it back was kind of how I just started. I just wanted to remember who I was,” Anderson spoke to Entertainment Tonight.

The newly nominated Golden Globes actress went on to say, “I mean I’ve been playing characters my whole life — I want to play characters in movies, not in my personal life.”

“I just want to be me, so this is an experiment. It’s just something I feel drawn to do — I didn’t even think anyone would notice!” she added.

Earlier in the month of December, the former Baywatch star rocked her bare face at the 2024 Gotham Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

“I mean — I wear — I love to wear makeup too sometimes, It has a time and a place. I just feel in my personal life, it just didn’t really make sense. Being brave and living your dreams. It’s never too late,” Anderson said at the time while speaking to People.
